Enter your new email address in the current window, enter your current password on Facebook and click the Save Changes button. Click the Save Changes button and you will be notified that the activation link message has been sent to your new email address.

When you open your email and click on the Activation link in it, your new address will be added to Facebook. Go back to Account Settings - Email - Edit section, select the new email and enter your Facebook password and click Save changes below.

Now go back to the same email - edit area and hit the Remove link link below the old email address and press Save Changes. Now you can use your Facebook account in the new email. You can also protect your personal address.
